Rabbit is a WordPress module created in response to industry needs, with a development process spanning four years. Here, the module refers to a theme (White Rabbit) and plugin (Rabbit Hole) set.

Rabbit has extensively analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of all its industry alternatives over the years. While alternatives may resemble social media platforms on the surface, upon closer inspection, they tend to be slow, outdated, and weak. In contrast, Rabbit approaches true social media products (like IG, Reddit, Facebook, VK, and Twitter) with authentic reverse engineering principles, emerging as a fully functional, high-performance, secure, innovative, and robust product.

As mentioned, Rabbit's development took four years and includes over 300,000 lines of code, written by expert developers in PHP, Vanilla JS, TailwindCSS, and WebRTC. It employs an OOP, modular, and extendable coding approach.

Why should I use Rabbit over BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss)?

BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss which is uses BuddyPress) is not a plugin that truly turns your WordPress site into a full-fledged social media platform; it just looks like one on the surface.

While BuddyPress provides basic features like a simple user feed, a basic notification system, and standard user profiles, it doesn't offer the advanced functionalities needed to create a real social media experience. To get those features, you have to rely on additional plugins.
